The resultant oxidative processes and decreased antioxidant capacity are implicated in many eye-related problems. Several antioxidant vitamins, minerals, carotenes, and flavonoids have been shown to support vision and the health of the eye. Ocu-ClearVET contains a broad spectrum of ingredients and plant extracts that promote eye health. The unique combination of protective ingredients in Ocu-ClearVET includes the full spectrum of carotenes (from mixed carotenes), as well as selenium, zinc, vitamin C, lipoic acid, glutathione, and vitamin E, all of which are vital components of the antioxidant capacity of the retina and lens of the eye. Plant extracts also provide important support for the eye. Lutein is a vital component of the macula and may provide antioxidant protection to this area of the retina.
